3G Eee PC Coming

Asus isn’t going to rest on their laurels with the phenomenal success of the Eee PC – in fact, the Taiwan-based company will be working on a 3G-capable version that will be released later this year in order to keep up with its rivals. It would be interesting to see how such a notebook will fare in the market, since data plans greatly vary from country to country and unlimited ones are pretty expensive to begin with in the first place. These 3G-enabled Eee PCs will feature internal 3G modules for HSDPA and HSUPA (High Speed Downlink/Uplink Packet Access), and it will most probably go on sale bundled with 3G contracts from a service provider. What is your comfort level when it comes to ponying up the cash for the 3G Eee PC?
