Asus Eee PC 701SD Sneak Peek

Here’s taking a look at the upcoming Eee PC 701SD that will share a somewhat similar chassis as the Eee PC 901, albeit without the rounded edges. In addition, the Eee logo is located on the top right corner, while the touchpad separates both left and right click buttons. Good to know the 701SD will feature a 30GB hard drive which makes it more palatable to use – I hate toting around an external hard drive whenever I travel as that means having one more thing to look out for when I pack. Since the 701SD will come with a hard drive instead of an SSD, logic dictates that the price should be lower – hopefully Asus doesn’t disappoint here.
