Yes, Asus has finally decided to release a variant of its Eee PC 904 that comes with a hard drive instead of SSD. This new model will hit the UK within a matter of weeks, and good thing it will remain at the bottom of the list when it comes to pricing. The Eee PC 904 HD shares a similar chassis with the 1001, utilizing an 8.9″ display and a full size keyboard. No idea on how large the hard drive will be, but this won’t be as shock-resistant as before where data integrity is concerned, but at least you can store a whole lot more compared to just 12GB.
