
Axiomtek has a new range of eBOX fanless embedded computers for those involved in industrial automation, digital signage (DSA), gaming/entertainment, and vehicle industries. You will be able to fit in a Celeron M or Pentium M processor in the eBOX639-822-FL, and that system will sport a couple of PCI slots, Gigabit Ethernet ports, and half a dozen each serial and USB interfaces. It can also hold up to 2GB of RAM, and everything is kept passively cooled tthanks to an aluminum case that comes complete with cooling slots and an integrated heat sink. Axiomtek is said to release the eBOX638-622-FL sometime early next month at a yet undsiclosed price. You will be able to choose from Windows XP Embedded, Windows CE and Linux as the operating system of choice.
