Apple has just released its pre-release build of Mac OS X 10.5.5 to the developer community, but has issued a warning to not use this version with Macs that run on integrated graphics chips. Well, don’t say you have not been warned – doing otherwise will probably open up the heavens and usher in the Apocalypse. I jest, but if Cupertino says don’t do it, I’d suggest you toe the line in order to prevent much more heartache and tears. This new pre-release will see up to 82 bugs addressed since Mac OS X 10.5.4 was released. It will be interesting to see how long will it take for the final build to arrive at consumers’ doorsteps.
