
What you see above are three conceptual designs from Oppo for their new player, and it looks as though it will target a more gaming-oriented crowd compared to previous releases. Oppo is well known for high end players with custom-programmed user interfaces, and it would be interesting to see the new generation of players support GBA games (and maybe DS titles…like 10 years down the road or something). These designs aren’t new to the gaming world though, as they’re already found in numerous cell phones and consoles like the DS Lite, but I like the way the second design features a sliding display in numerous directions best of all.
