Datto Z Series Brings Cheer

Datto is back with a new range of Z Series network storage devices that features dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and is capable of running more silently compared to its predecessor, courtesy of a fan that spools up only when needed. Other features include 1TB local and offsite storage, RAID 1, Active Directory support, and free customer support, all backed by a five-year warranty. You might need to dig a wee bit deeper than expected though, as prices start from $499 for a 250GB model, while the 1TB model will set you back by a whopping $1,149. To make things worse, the monthly fee has not been taken into consideration yet. At the end of the day, the more precious your data is to you, the cheaper the price tag seems to be.
