Everex Cloudbook goes WiMAX

Everex’s Cloudbook range now comes with WiMAX connectivity, never mind that the service has not fully rolled out yet. This will only be available on the 8.9″ machines, ruling the 10.2″ model out of the equation. The WiMAX-enabled Cloudbooks will hit Taiwan and Japan at the end of August, while those of us living Stateside will only be able to run our fingers over it this September. No idea on whether these machines will be manufactured by FIC or powered by VIA’s OpenBook reference design, so stay tuned.
