Fashion Model Robot in Japan

Guess stuff like this is available only in Japan, and this time round we have a fashion model robot developed by the Robot Research Institute at the New Industry Research Organization, Japan. This robot is capable of imitating a pose (racy or otherwise) taken by a woman, courtesy of simultaneously controlling all 16 of its joints used for limbs, neck, waist and other body parts. It is hoped that this robot will be able to be fitted with polyethylene sheets in the future for a more human-like look, and as technology progresses, supermodels could soon be out of a job. Hopefully such a robot by then won’t suffer from embarrassing falls in front of the camera or a wardrobe malfunction.
