Sharp’s Katana Eclipse clamshell handset has just been given the green light by the FCC, so expect to see this slim cell phone arrive on Sprint in the forseeable future. The sharpness in the name, unfortunately, does not reflect in the specifications since it doesn’t leave much room to impress anybody. Notable features include a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, dedicated external music keys, support for EV-DO networks, and a 2 megapixel camera. This looks set to be a mediocre phone by any means, reserved only for die-hard Katana fans.
