
The Velocity Mobile is no vaporware as the FCC has already unveiled the handset, which means that an official launch date is not very far off in the future. Of course, it will be interesting to see how the handset will turn the Windows Mobile experience into something that one cannot live without since the track record of Microsoft’s portable operating system isn’t exactly stellar to date. Better to approach this with an open mind I guess, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that the re-skinned Windows Mobile operating system will be worth using.
