You know that this is a truly globalized world where platform exclusivity does not last forever. Take the Final Fantasy franchise for example – it was first available to Nintendo owners only, and then the tide of power shifted to Sony’s PlayStation platform only to revert to Nintendo back again and now, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console will be getting Final Fantasy XIII. Is that mind-blowing or what? I’m most interested to see the impact of such a title released on the Xbox 360 – will it be able to achieve what Blue Dragon (a Japanese developed RPG) failed to do on Microsoft’s console where Japanese hardware sales are concerned?
