Garmin nuvi 500 Series hit the UK

Folks living in the UK will be able to enjoy the benefits of Garmin’s new nuvi 500 series of navigation systems, regardless of whether they prefer walking to cycling, scootering or driving. The nuvi 500 caters to a wide range of activity categories and is equal to all the tasks, featuring Navteq mapping data so that you won’t get lost easily while offering the following :-

• Waterproof body
• 3.5″ touch screen display
• Garmin Hotfix
• Millions of points of interest
• Garmin Connect Photos
• Bluetooth connectivity

The nüvi 500 and 550 will be available in Europe and come pre-loaded with country-specific City Navigator NT Map Data for the 500 and full European City Navigator NT Map Data for the 550. The latter will hit the UK this September for £299.
