iPhone 3G Unlocked with Old Method

Folks with a sharp eye will notice that the iPhone 3G you see here does not feature the name AT&T in the place of the carrier, and it reads more lile TIM. This can only mean one thing – it was unlocked using a SIM card adapter, just like how the original iPhone was broken into. A Brazilian who was part of the team in the successful unlocking processes mentioned, “Our procedure consist in using one SIM adapter to simulate a fake IMSI test card. Instead of the AT&T IMSI like in the universals.” If only Apple were more open in their dealings, the world would be a much better place.
