The gloves are off, as SEGA of America president Simon Jeffery stated that the iPhone 3G is nearly on par with the Sega Dreamcast in terms of power, and Sega is extremely pleased that the iPhone version of Super Monkey Ball works extremely well without nary a complaint from owners. It will be interesting to see how Sega leverages such power then – will they then roll out classic Dreamcast games on the iPhone in the near future? Shenmue, anyone?
