At long last, iRiver has released its SPINN portable media player that comes in a unique form factor where hardware is concerned. You get a lovely 3.2″ AMOLED display that is miles better than what conventional LCD offers, but one major drawback would be a missing memory card slot – microSD or miniSD, just give us something to play around with! The SPINN is also thicker than the mock up on display, and strangely enough the battery is not removable. After all that relatively bad news, here are some positives to the SPINN that ought to soothe your soul. It will have Bluetooth 2.0 connectivty, a 3D acceleration chip (presumably for some sort of pre-loaded game), a new SPINN interface and support for Flash, FM/DMB/DAB tuners.
