LG and Dolby Team Up

LG and Dolby have formed a partnership to develop new LG cell phones with Dolby Mobile, bringing phones to a whole new level of multimedia capability. Some of the features that will be introduced in this partnership include :-

• Mobile Surround – Delivers a realistic surround sound experience using headphones
• Sound Space Expander – Creates a wide, rich, and spacious soundstage suited to music
• Natural Bass – Adds powerful boost and bass extension
• High-Frequency Enhancer – Enhances music and other content by restoring high-frequency effects

I wonder if these will give Sony Ericsson’s Walkman line a run for its money…
