LG’s Chocolate 3 clamshell handset will no longer be released on July 14 as we reported, as Verizon just made known to the masses that it will hit the streets a good 24 hours earlier – that leaves us with a July 13 date. I suppose being a weekend and all, with you sulking that your 3G iPhone is still out of commission as Apple’s servers remain down due to the activation frenzy that occurred right after the launch, you might actually make that crazy impulse purchase with the LG Chocolate 3, or won’t you? Well, if you have $129.99 lying around after a $50 mail-in rebate and are looking for a new functional yet affordable phone, the LG Chocolate 3 looks like a pretty good buy.
