Man, are South Koreans a tech savvy bunch or what. Just when you thought the cell phone has reached its zenith in terms of functions, along comes news that there is now a Mosquito Repelling Plus service for handset owners. These special cell phones are able to generate a frequency bandwidth that is capable of keeping those pesky bloodsuckers away within a one meter radius, and the service is available from SK Telecom and KTF. In addition, “Anyfishing” services offers real-time updates on water temperature, depth, and fish types at Korea’s popular fishing points including rivers and seas. What can the cell phone do next that we never thought of? Cook dinner?
