LG Electronics doesn’t want to miss out on the netbook phenomenon, and have recruited MSI to manufacture its netbooks that will be powered by Intel’s latest Atom processors later this October. The first netbook from LG, the X110, will come with the following specifications :-
- 8.9″ LCD display
- 2GB RAM
- 120GB hard drive
- Windows XP operating system
- Intel Atom processor
The specifications are way beefed up compared to a standard Eee PC, but the price is rather high, hovering between $625 and $790. It will be interesting to see whether LG will place a strong emphasis on the design of this netbook.
