New iPod touch Model?

Alongside the possible addition that Google Maps will have turn-by-turn directions, another interesting piece of news would be the beta release of iPhone OS 2.1 that comes with a potential reference to a new iPod touch model. It was revealed in an analysis of the iPhone OS 2.1 file structure, where various files displayed the string “iPod2, 1″ whereas the current iPod touch uses the model moniker “1, 1″. Don’t hold your breath yet, as this is yet just a rumor.
