Nintendo Working on New Console

Good to see that Nintendo aren’t resting on their laurels with the runaway success of their current generation hardware. The Wii has been doing gangbusters in sales, along with the DS Lite, and they are already hard at work on their newest console. This is amazing since the Wii has not hung around for a day over two years, but I believe the next console will boast superior firepower that could possibly usher Nintendo into the High Definition world. It would be interesting to see how Sony and Microsoft reacts to this, since the former has stated brazenly that the PS3 will be around for a good 10 years. Time will tell how Nintendo will handle gamers’ expectations of a new console – will it be as revolutionary as the Wii, or just improve on the current downsides like lower quality graphics and a lack of storage?
