Nokia isn’t going to play nice with its customers, forcing them to take a tough stand as the Finnish cell phone company won’t be supporting BlackBerry Connect. “RIM are a competitor and have done a reasonable job in a space that is traditionally ours, so it’s no great surprise that we see this as an opportunity to give consumers a proper choice on what email solution they want.” Could this decision come back to haunt them some time down the road? After all, there is a pretty large amount of folks who use the BlackBerry Connect service for work, and this move might alienate them towards RIM devices. Nokia isn’t exactly the name to come into your mind either when it comes to a user-friendly email client.
