AT&T’s made a total blunder of things today, releasing news that iPhone users will be getting free Wi-Fi access only to rescind on that statement shortly thereafter. This is not even the first time it has happened, but the first incident occurred less than half a year ago. Perhaps some disgruntled employee decided to have a little fun at AT&T’s expense by publishing this on the site, or is it just a marketing gimmick to draw more attention? After all, even negative publicity is publicity.
