
Nokia has announced the release of the Nokia Wireless Loopset which is designed for users with hearing aids. It works with T-coil equipped hearing aids or cochlear implants, and slips around the user’s neck making it more comfortable for users. It is also compatible with Bluetooth-ready headsets. The Loopset features adjustable sidetone levels, optimized volume range; single-button calling, induction technology enables acoustic background noise to be filtered which greatly increases speech discrimination. Finally, there’s also a vibrating alert for incoming calls. It is expected to begin shipping worldwide in Q1 2009 priced at $315.36USD
