Pivo 2 Helps You Park

Those who absolutely loathe parallel parking will be pleased to know that something like the Pivo 2 from Nissan and Renault is achievable, although it remains to be seen whether this will roll out in the near future or not. The Pivo 2 features a quartet of wheel-based engines and a robot instructer who uses voice and feature recognition to sense a driver’s mood. Since the cabin can be rotated and wheel pivoted, conventional parallel parking is a thing of the past – you can just pull right in between two cars and slot yourself in comfortably. This will also help maximize parking space as vehicles won’t need some space on both sides of the vehicle to make their way out. Nissan and Renault are looking at a 2.5 year timeframe to bring the Pivo 2 to the masses.
