
At E3, Sony introduced video downloads in its store. Users will be able to download (buy or rent) videos from major studios. If you own a PS3, you might have an HDTV as well. In this case, you’ll be glad to hear that it is possible to get TV shows in HD (as well as SD). Rental prices go from $3 to $4 and purchases from $10 to $20. There’s a cherry on the cake: downloaded videos can be transferred to a PSP. Now I’m curious to see if I can start watching the movie instantly, or if I have to wait, and if so, for how long… Stay tuned! Press release
