PS3 Video Service Is Not Global

Sorry to announce that the PS3 video service is region locked, which means folks in Australia cannot access the brand new video store despite having installed the 2.41 firmware update. This isn’t any better compared to the Xbox 360 video service, but then again, who are we kidding – this is definitely not the first time such a thing has happened on the PlayStation Network, and I have a feeling it won’t be the last either. Ah well, we might be a global village, but Sony still wants to segregate us according to various continents at this point in time.
