
Samsung’s new range of LCD HDTVs, known as the Series 8 will aim to bring both form and function into a single device. Measuring a mere 1.9″ wide at the thickest point, all these models will come with the following features :-

- 120Hz refresh rates
- 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio
- SRS TruSurround XT audio
- Four HDMI-CEC ports
- Dual component input
- S-Video
- PC input
- Ethernet connection
- USB connectivity
The 46″ and 52″ models fom the 850 range will retail for $2,699.99 and $3,399.99, respectively, while those opting for the 860 range will have to fork out an extra $100 for the corresponding screen size.
