
If you think that international data roaming charges with the iPhone is bad, try putting yourself in the shoes of this mobile broadband user who received a whopping £31,000 bill garnered, despite the fact that all he downloaded was some music and a solitary episode of the popular TV show Prison Break. Apparently, Iayn Dobsyn was busy holidaying in Portugal and downloaded those files via a mobile broadband card connected to his notebook. He was unaware of the difference in mobile charges when abroad, but managed to get his team of lawyers to reduce the bill to a more manageable £229.
