Good thing that fish aren’t as smart as dogs and cats (as those two species can figure out an auto feeder once they’re onto the game), and they’re dumb enough to eat till they die as long as there is food in the vicinity. The DIY simple fish feeder will dispense food when the right time arrives, thanks to the rotating time wheel. It will also activate the aquarium light simultaneously, and this solution is workable with both small and large fish since it can be adapter to function on a solenoid with a multiple on/off setting timer for the latter.
