Teclast’s M26, the budget touchscreen portable media player was recently reviewed by MP4Nation and was not found to be satisfactory. The player’s resistive touchscreen still needs to be tweaked, while the scrolling is less than responsive and the player requires numerous taps before getting the hint on several tasks. One of the possibilities of its lacklustre performance would be the pre-release firmware, so the final product with an updated, more stable firmware should be the more definite yardstick as to whether the Teclast M26 ought to make a beeline for the trash bin or not.
