Zune Phone Rumor

It goes without saying that somebody has to come up with a Zune Phone rumor, so here we are with news of such whispers. Apparently, Microsoft wants in on Apple’s slice of goodness, and will be planning a Zune phone to go head-to-head against the iPhone. Hopefully it fare better compared to what the first Xbox did against the PS2 and Gamecube. Word also has it that the Zune phone will run on a special version of Windows Mobile 7, with key functionality resting around Windows Live (Mobile) Services. What do you think? I guess being welcomed to the social (of 5 people) just ain’t enough for Microsoft, so they’re trying their best to double that number if this effort pulls through.
