80GB PS3 Hits UK This Friday

If you’re living in the UK, I sure hope you don’t fall into the category of those who just picked up a PS3 recently, since Sony will be rolling its 80GB model out this Friday for the same price as the 40GB version at £299. This launch which has been brought forward is most likely a knee-jerk reaction to Microsoft’s latest 60GB Xbox 360 which was launched last Friday. Well, things are heating up right now in the world of home consoles, with the Xbox 360 recently outselling the PS3 in the latter’s home country last week.
