It’s becoming a little hard to sell CPU to businesses these days, and one of the only things that customers care about right now is power consumption, so AMD does lower power CPUs. It is hard to tell how customers will receive it and to be honest it will depend largely on the pricing, which we guess will be low because Intel has competitive offerings, consumption-wise. But, it’s an interesting initiative that we will follow. CPU line-up:
- Phenom X4 9750B (4 cores, 2.4Ghz, 95W)
- Phenom X3 8750B (3 cores, 2.4Ghz, 95W)
- Athlon X2 5600B (2 cores, 2.9GHz, 65W)
- Athlon X2 4850B (2 cores, 2.5GHz, 45W)
