Blu-ray Games Run From HDD

StreetskaterFU has discovered a way to run Blu-ray games off the PS3′s hard drive instead of the discs itself, but there are some significant drawbacks. This method works fine only with older games along with older update codes, but so far the confirmed working games are Warhawk, MotorStorm, Resistance: Fall of Man, Gran Turismo 5 and Call of Duty 3. There are two ways of going about this – the legal method involves the original disc, while the shadier method requires the game dump and any PS3 Blu-ray title but two hard drives that are similar in capacity. Interesting but definitely not revolutionary. After all, disc loading times can be used for a toilet break as well.
