Dell has a notebook for those rough-and-tumble types – the Latitude E6400 ATG which was originally leaked out much earlier this year. We do know that it will be powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processors, is able to hold up to 8GB of RAM, boasts a ruggedized hard drive to withstand nasty shocks (or an SSD if you’re so inclined), along with other regular hardware such as Wi-Fi connectivity and an integrated graphics chipset. The outdoor viewable display even comes with an LED backlight, making it ideal to work under the sweltering summer in a field somewhere. It was originally configurable and available online, but somehow or rather the product page performed a Houdini shortly after.
