Piers Prendergast of London has come up with the Electracity car concept which offers a generous trunk space – something most small car designs miss out on. The extending rear section of its chassis is able to fold out each time you require additional space to place all your stuff, be it groceries or suitcases. No idea on the mileage of this, but being a concept, I suppose you could throw out some reasonably efficient figures without having anyone dispute that.
