At first glance, I thought the EmoGlove had something to do with whiny programmers, but I was wrong. This peripheral supposedly helps companies evaluate the quality of their software applications as it tracks virtually all movements of the mouse and keystrokes on a keyboard, coupled with eye movements and one’s facial expressions. All that data will be gathered and fed into a special software which will then determine the subject’s emotional attitude towards the application in question. All that is also assisted by the EmoGlove’s ability to measure heart rate, skin resistance and body temperature. This will then enable software companies to find out whether their product appeals to the masses or not. Too bad it doesn’t check the IQ level as it would’ve failed the I Am Rich iPhone app in the first place.
