Intelliject has just developed its new product – the EpiCard. This device targets people who suffer from allergies to self-administer subcutaneous epinephrine, and is touted to be the smallest of its kind in the world. Should it be commercialized, the EpiCard will share roughly the same dimensions as a credit card. To make matters all the more interesting, this device is able to offer step-by-step voice instructions to patients on how to use the auto-injector whenever a life threatening emergency strikes. Neat!
