
You can’t keep everyone happy, can you? With the advent of hybrid vehicles, roads have become much quieter (if you discount the honks during rush hour, of course), leading the California Legislature to conclude that this is bad for the blind, hence passing a bill that requires hybrid vehicles to be noisy enough for visually impaired people to hear before they cross the street. I thought there were pedestrian crossings specially built for that purpose? Makes me wonder what auto manufacturers will do to introduce more noise…
