Intel is already working on a Classmate 3 laptop which ought to see more details released sometime next month, bringing hope to the impoverished masses that the Classmate 2′s weaknesses would have been weeded out by then. Hopefully the Intel Celeron 900MHz processor found in current Classmate 2s will be ditched to make way for a more powerful Atom platform, along with all the other relevant hardware and software upgrades. Just don’t make it too expensive lest it’s original target market of students in poor and developing countries won’t be able to afford one.
