iPhone 2.0.1 Screws Up GPS

Someone on the MacRumors forum have posted that the GPS function failed to work once the iPhone 2.0.1 update was installed, rendering Google Maps, well, useless. The tower triangulation has also experienced a massive fail in this manner, leaving the user rather frustrated. Good thing I still retain my map reading (and folding) skills from my days as a Boy Scout. If you think restoring the iPhone would fix the issue, think again. Does anyone else suffer from the same problem, or is it a one off thing?
