Lenovo is set to announce the IdeaPad U8, an ultra-mobile PC (UMPC) that features a 4.8” display, 3G connectivity, a “trackball”, a GPS and will be powered by an Atom processor (not surprisingly). Sources say that it is likely to run on a non-Windows OS (which pretty much means Linux). Of course, the pricing has not been announced yet, but it should be out by the end of next month.
