Mercedes Benz Offers HD Radio

Everythign seems to be going High Definition these days, with Mercedes Benz following BMW’s footsteps by offering HD radio in selected 2009 models. HD radio broadcast quality is on par with CDs where FM stations are concerned, and this feature will be included in as an option in the 2009 E-, M-, R-, GL-, and G-class. I guess this is good and all for developed nations with HD broadcast, but there are still many countries around the world that do not have this feature just yet. Still, if you’re rich enough to own a Benz, you’d probably be able to rely on your iPod or other PMPs if your country has no HD broadcast.
