Our friends across the Atlantic have it good, as Christmas arrives early with the Nokia N85 and N79 arriving tomorrow. The former will oust the N81 by featuring an upgraded camera (from two to five megapixels), GPS navigation as well as geotagging support, a 2.6″ AMOLED display and 28 hours of audio playback on a single charge. As for the N79, that will oust the N78 which was released just a few months ago. You will find a 5 megapixel camera (that seems to be the standard these days) with a dual-LED based flash, 3G connectivity, a microSDHC memory card slot, Wi-Fi support and GPS navigation to round off the list of features. Expect both handsets to roll out in the rest of Europe later.
