With Samsung releasing 8 new TVs of the plasma and LCD variety, Panasonic wants to stay in the hunt by rolling out 5 of their own. These will be available in a couple of series – the ZR900 and PZ800 range. The former will come in 42″, 46″ and 50″ sizes, featuring the following :-
- 1TB internal hard drive
- Digital TV tuner
- YouTube-ready
As for the PZ800 series, one can choose between the 58″ and larger 65” screen sizes. These plasma screens will come with a 30,000:1 contrast ratio, Viera Link, Network TV and 4-port HDMI connectivity. No idea on pricing though, but they shouldn’t be cheap.
