
Skipping the “leaks and rumors” part of a device life cycle, the Samsung BD-P2550 just showed up on BestBuy.com. It is positioned as a high-end player with supposedly good video scaling capabilities, Dolby TrueHD (7.1 channel), upgradable firmware (via USB or Ethernet). If you are really looking for these features, take a look. Personally, I’d rather buy a PS3, which is still considered as one of the best Blu-Ray player out there and it has movie rentals/downloads. Did I mention games?
