Samsung To Announce YP-Q1

Samsung is tipped to announce its YP-Q1 portable media player (PMP) at the IFA later this week, and interested parties (yes, all five of you) will be able to choose from 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities. The Samsung YP-Q1 is tipped to ship with the following features :-

• 2.4″ QVGA display
• Supports MP3, WMA, WAV, Ogg and FLAC audio formats
• Supports MPEG4 and WMV video formats
• Built-in FM RDS radio

There is no word on pricing as at press time, but this won’t be posing a threat to the iPod dynasty anytime soon.
