Sony KDL-40ZX1 Is Thinnest LCD HDTV

If you want thin, then Sony’s the way to go wtih their KDL-40ZX1 LCD TV that measures a mere 9.9mm thin. This shaves off nearly half the depth of the previous record holder from Hitachi, and does not skimp of specifications and features either :-

  • LED backlighting
  • 3,000:1 contrast ratio
  • 120Hz MotionFlow tech
  • x.v.Color and BRAVIA Engine 2 image processing

It will cost you a cool $4,474 (after conversion) to place the KDL-40ZX1 in your pad, so head down to Japan this November 10th if you want to be one of the first few to get your hands on this 40″ puppy.
